Our Story
Ice Cold Analytics brings NHL-level player intelligence to athletes across Alberta — because every player deserves access to the same tools as the pros.
The Founder
I'm Stacey Phillips — a former University of Alberta hockey player who spent years competing and always wondered the same thing: what if I actually knew what to fix?
Coaches give feedback. Trainers give drills. But the data? The kind of precise, measurable insights that tell you exactly where your edges fail, where your stride loses power, where you're leaving time on the ice — that was never available to us as players. I had to guess, and so did my coaches.
I founded Ice Cold Analytics because I know firsthand what it feels like to work hard without the right information. As an authorized Drive Hockey distributor, I bring the same sensor technology used at the NHL combine level to minor hockey athletes across Alberta — at a price point that works for regular families.
This is the service I wish had existed when I was developing as a player.
Our Mission
High-performance analytics used to be reserved for elite programs and professional scouts. We believe that's wrong. A kid playing AA hockey in Edmonton deserves to know just as much about their skating mechanics as a prospect at a national combine.
Ice Cold Analytics exists to close that gap — using real sensor data, expert evaluation, and professional development reports to give every athlete and their family the knowledge they need to improve, with purpose.
What We Stand For
NHL-level analytics shouldn't be gated behind elite programs. We keep pricing accessible so any family committed to their athlete's development can benefit.
Opinions are easy. Data is honest. We use Drive Hockey sensor technology to deliver objective, measurable insights — not guesswork.
We're rooted in the same hockey communities we serve. Alberta athletes deserve the same quality of development tools as players in any major hockey market.
The Technology
Every Ice Cold Analytics combine runs on the Drive Hockey sensor and AI platform — the same technology trusted by professional scouts and NHL-level development programs. The portable system sets up in 15 minutes with sensors around the rink and a lightweight sensor worn on each player's shoulder pads.
Authorized Distributor
The Drive Hockey platform delivers the same sensor and AI analytics used at NHL combines — now available to community athletes across Alberta through Ice Cold Analytics.
